High Hill Norman Park and Gardens, New Ross
We delivered a multi-phase public realm scheme on a constrained town centre site with a 21-metre height differential, involving terraced retaining walls, over 200 granite steps, utility modifications, and protection of a medieval castle wall — completed for Wexford County Council in 2022. All materials including 18 containers of granite were received off-site and shuttled in on smaller vehicles due to restricted access on both approach roads. We worked alongside the Conservation Officer and a specialist Architectural Stonemason throughout, and managed the site daily around the elderly residents who lived on its boundary.

Brennans Lane & The Shambles, New Ross
We delivered the civil and public realm works across two constrained town centre sites within an Architectural Conservation Area — 1,500m² of granite paving, stone-clad boundary walls, new services installation, and a public building, for Wexford County Council in 2024. When a structural issue with an adjacent building divided the site mid-contract, we resequenced the programme to keep works progressing. A medieval wall discovered during excavation was preserved in situ under archaeological supervision without impact to the surrounding programme. We co-ordinated all site deliveries around the working hours of the restaurants and businesses that depended on access through the site.
New Ross Walkway, New Ross
We constructed 1.2km of new riverside walkway along the Barrow in New Ross — including formation works, bitumen macadam surfacing, wheelchair-accessible ramps, viewing platforms, drainage, public lighting, and street furniture installation, for Wexford County Council in 2018. Works were carried out along a live riverbank corridor, requiring careful sequencing to protect the river environment throughout. The finished route tied into the existing public footpath network and was accessible to all users from the day of handover.
